Food and Beverage
Food and beverage service for events at Alumni Memorial Hall is provided by McMaster Hospitality Services. Please review the AMH Catering Menu for available selections, policies and booking information.
Food and Beverage Minimums
Weeknight events held after 6:00 p.m. require a minimum food and beverage spend of $750.Weekend events require a minimum food and beverage spend of $2,000.

Parking
Parking is available on campus for members and guests of Alumni Memorial Hall. Parking costs $8.00 per hour on weekdays, to a maximum of $20.00. After 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, and on weekends and statutory holidays, parking costs $8.00 per vehicle.

Code of Conduct
Alumni Memorial Hall reserves the right to control all functions held on its premises and to discontinue bar services at any time. Alumni Memorial Hall also reserves the right to ask any patron to leave the premises at any time. The event host or convenor is responsible for the conduct of their guests during all functions. Children must not be left unattended.
Music Licensing
What is SOCAN? SOCAN licenses give you the freedom to play any music you want in your business, legally, ethically, and easily. This fee will be applied to all events that include music. For more information, visit SOCAN’s website.
What is Re:Sound?
Re:Sound is the Canadian not-for-profit music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists and record companies for their performance rights. On behalf of its members, representing thousands of artists and record companies for their performance rights, Re:Sound licenses recorded music for public performance, broadcast and new media. This fee will be applied to all events that include music.

Pictures on Campus
When planning on having pictures taken on the McMaster University campus (outside of Alumni Memorial Hall), you will be required to apply for a photo permit. Photo permits are obtained through the McMaster University’s Housing and Conference Services, and can be applied for online.
